Part of the London Transport outer ring of Country Depots, St. Alban's served the local area, ran red bus
Serv. 84 to Arnos Grove, and Green Line (long distance, limited stop coach services) 712, 713, 714, and 727. In this view of the garage during operational days, you can see RF35 and SMW4 on the
forecourt, another RF illegally running in the exit road, and the one red RT in the yard, used on Serv. 84, until its truncation in 1970, and then used as a staff bus and trainer. RT2157 was shifted to
Leatherhead and repainted in green livery in 1972. This picture was taken in 1971 shortly after the conversion to London Country Bus Service.
