Imagine my surprise to discover this when passing through St. Albans recently. The thriving and vibrant
bus garage has gone in favour of high density town housing. That tree is still there, as are two of the brick gate posts to the back yard where that red RT was visible in the older photograph. This prime
site must have raised millions for the property developer, no provincial and possibly marginal bus operation could compete with that! I spoke with a new resident who had moved in from Canada. He said
that locals still refer to this as the bus garage; but for how much longer I wonder?
