My city is known for coal, shipbuilding, brown ale, and a black and white football team. Today there is no coal or shipbuilding, but the bonny folk of Tyneside make a good living in other ways, and it is a vibrant lively place to live. I am interested in local history, however, I will not bore you with that, but pass on to the present and the watering holes that I sometimes frequent. |
